Funding Received For Program Expansion

At no cost to non-profit organizations interested in developing prescription assistance programs, MedHelp Maine will provide start-up guidance in procedure design, staffing, computer software, and community outreach.

A generous Bingham Program grant has allowed MedHelp Maine to hire a facilitator for enhanced prescription assitance program support and outreach. Jona Dorso has joined MedHelp Maine to increase this organization's ability to respond to community prescription assitance needs. Jona has an extensive Maine social sevices background, as well as education in business and health. Her skills include community organizing, resource identification, and program development. Jona is available to advise existing prescription assitance programs and to discuss new program start-up with hospital executives and other community leaders.
